Spots and stripes

This will be the first time I've tried to add a picture here, so please be kind :)
Monday was hubby's birthday. He's a no frills guy who likes "huntin', shootin' and fishin'". I'm passionate about recycling and used an image that came in a bundle of Christmas cards from a neighbour. The handmade papers (green) were in a pack from Southfield Stationers, brads I think are Dovecraft but I don't have the packaging.
The weed is dried litchen from oak trees around here and is similar to the stuff sold for model railway enthusiasts (which DH informs me is a Scottish version - he's a mine of information!).

Snowing here but the forecast is for rain later this afternoon - hope they're right! Today's my day off so when I've had a passable attempt at some dreaded housework and made a lasagne I want to try making a recycled gift bag using instructions found on the web this morning. Watch this space!
