Tragic

Hi everyone,
One of my infrequent postings. My mind is not really here at the mo.
As some of you know, I work in a church office helping make arrangements for services etc. We've had a terrible tragedy in one of our parishes, a two year old boy drowned in pond on the family estate last weekend. It seems he got through the 'secure' fencing somehow and the funeral is on Friday.
It wasn't really touching me, although I felt sick when heard the news, and so sad for his parents, whose wedding I helped to arrange-- until today when a draft order of service came from the funeral director with a photo of him. Gorgeous, little chunky blond boy with a fantastic smile - and a baby sister I think.
It is so hard to understand the ways of God in this!
