Darby and Joan

Hi all, I am suffering a bit from empty nest syndrome this week. Our daughter is away at uni (in her last year, so I have got used to her not being around much) but our 16 y/o son is on a residential trip with college this week and the house is so quiet. Hubby says he is missing having a 'bundle' in the mornings as they both vie for the best shaving position in the bathroom mirror! Thankfully, mayhem will be restored at the weekend.



Monday was brother in law's birthday and this is the card I made. He loves his red coupé and although the recycled image is not the same make as his car, I thought a Ferrari would do! Used sketch 1 by Rozzy on Trimcraft forum. I wish I had spent a bit more time thinking as I should have put the triangular DP top right on a mat of white for best effect. The sketch showed brads or some such but I was rushing to get it done and didn't have time to fiddle about with them. Thanks for looking and any comments.
